Green Thinking Transport Media Secures New “Ask for ALPHA2” Campaign with Energy Saving Giant Grundfos

The recent investment in a new green high performance large format printer by the outdoor media specialist Transport Media (transportmediadev.hivehosted.co.uk) has played a significant part in securing the company a new media campaign named “Ask for ALPHA2” from energy efficient products client Grundfos Pumps Ltd.

Grundfos Pumps Ltd is part of the Grundfos Group employing 16,000 people across 78 companies worldwide. The UK division is a leader in the supply of pumps and pump systems for domestic and commercial buildings in the UK.

Grundfos has recently launched its ground-breaking new ALPHA2 product which is more energy efficient for heating systems within the home. With the campaign strap line “The Pump That Delivers” the product offers users some impressive savings. By replacing D-labeled pumps with the new A-labeled ALPHA2, householders can save up to 10% of their energy bills.

Transport Media recently took delivery of its new HPDesignerjet L65500 printer, the first of its kind to use new water-based HP latex ink technology. Designed with the environment in mind this next-generation printer assists signage producers to reduce the impact their printing makes on the environment.

As a promoter of green products themselves Grundfos was attracted to working with Transport Media after hearing that the company had placed an order for the new ‘green’ printer. Additionally, its commitment to recycling all used banners was a further important factor in Grundfos’s decision to award Transport Media its taxi advertising campaign.

The Grundfos campaign was for full livery taxis in London and Manchester and after Transport Media took delivery of the the new printer the first campaign printed by it was in fact the Grundfos campaign.
