Westbury Station

Westbury station is a major junction serving the Reading to Taunton line with services to Penzance and London Paddington; the Wessex Main Line with services to Cardiff, Portsmouth and Swindon; and the Heart of Wessex Line with local services from Bristol to Weymouth and services to London Waterloo.

The variety of surrounding countryside makes it a delight for both the walker and cyclist and the area also provides the perfect location for most air sports. Westbury is exceptionally well positioned for all UK major road and railway connections. The most famous landmark of the area is the vastly impressive Westbury White Horse which is both the oldest and largest White Horse in Wiltshire.

Westbury is located 18 miles south east of the city of Bath and about 6 miles south of Trowbridge; other nearby towns and cities include Bristol, Frome, Salisbury, Swindon and Warminster. This is a brilliant location for advertising to commuters on their way to work and passers-by already on passing trains.

Also close by is the Trowbridge Museum which tells the story of the West Country woollen town, once known as the “Manchester of the west”, its people and its history. Housed in a former woollen cloth mill, the museum displays include working textile machinery, a weaver’s cottage, a medieval castle and local history displays.

Transport media, the rail advertising experts, offer train car panels and 4 sheet billboards in this station. We also provide outdoor advertising options for rail stations all over the country.
