Blue Insurances launch multi-channel advertising campaign to take flight in UK Travel Market

Multi Award winning insurance provider Blue Insurances is to launch a four month multi-channel advertising campaign across the UK with Media Agency Group promoting their product to the UK Travel Market. won Best Travel Insurance Provider at the Travel Media Awards November 2011, and Blue Insurances wish to market the product more widely to increase brand awareness so consumers know of the service and can benefit from their range of Travel Insurance policies.

Media Agency Group will be overseeing the media planning and buying of the Radio and Outdoor Advertising campaign to ensure sales take off in The UK.

In the group’s first multi-channel campaign for the brand, radio division Radio Airtime Media have secured a prominent four-month airtime deal starting 9th April 2012 with GMG Radio’s Real Network to promote ‘the UK’s new choice in Travel Insurance’. will sponsor Real Radio North West’s ‘Cash Calls’ where listeners are invited to guess the amount of money to be won every hour between 8am and 6pm each weekday. As well as sponsor credits, Real Radio will include in-show features and holiday giveaways promoting as their preferred holiday insurance provider, who will then cover the travelling winners.

Listen to Multitrip Cash Calls ‘In play’ will have 30 second advertising slots, and further Promotional Trails will run on air to encourage listeners to go online to the bespoke ‘Microsite’ for hosted at which will promote further competitions and special offers from, and give information all about the company.

To launch the campaign have full sponsorship of Real Radio’s channel on The UK Radio Player, and have total takeover of the Real Radio homepage with their advert and design. Social media promotion will run throughout the four month airtime.

Outdoor division Out of Home International is to launch a nationwide Outdoor Advertising campaign to accompany the radio efforts in the North West and reach a national audience by advertising in five key airports, and on buses across the UK.

The four-week campaign is designed to target travellers and holiday makers at bustling transport hubs and will launch with on 16th April 2012 with 6-sheet advertising at London Gatwick, London Stansted, Manchester, East Midlands International, and Belfast International Airports.

Bus advertising will run in Central London, Glasgow and Manchester. The bus rears will be visible predominately in City Centre’s around Travel Agents and Exchange Bureau’s, promoting the product to consumers when simply engaged in their day to day activities.
