Out of Home International and Radio Airtime Media at the How-do Awards 2012.

The Outdoor and Radio divisions of the Media Agency Group were on fine form at the 2012 How-do Awards last night (26th April 2012).

Showcasing the brands Out of Home International, Transport Media and Radio Airtime Media, the team were on track with their own branded Formula One simulator situated in the foyer giving guests arriving at the ‘do the chance to speed round their winning lap feeling the tingle and tension of the track in the realistic, adrenaline fuelled simulator.

During the evening Radio Airtime Media (@RadioATMedia) and Out of Home International (@OOHInt) kept followers up to date on the proceedings with images and updates from pudding served, to the highly commended and announced winners of each category. Oh, and the odd drunken photo, many featuring 3D glasses from Melbourne Server Hosting.

Out of Home International were nominees in two categories for the How-Do Awards 2012. The team had been shortlisted for the ‘Media Sales’ category recognising the company’s growth and innovative strategies to overcome tough economic trading climates, and creating jobs at MediaCityUK with the launch of their new division Radio Airtime Media, which specialises in radio airtime planning and buying.

The second category Out Of Home International had been nominated for is the ‘Marketing / integrated communications campaign’ for their QuickQuid – 10 Minute Money Outdoor Advertising Campaign.

As a very young agency in the North West it was an amazing accolade to be nominees, and be up against renowned companies and agencies, in both categories.

Out of Home International sponsored the ‘Digital agency’ category which was won by Code Computerlove.

Radio Airtime Media sponsored the ‘Radio station’ category won by 107.6 Juice FM.

After the awards were announced, and congratulations were given to their peers, the team hit the dance floor with full scripted moves to Madness’ ‘One Step Beyond’ and other classics.

“As first time sponsors, attendee’s and nominees of the How-do awards we can say without question the evening is not to be missed. The How-do’s present an invaluable networking opportunity for the media minds of the North West whilst being entertaining and relaxed. To find out we had been shortlisted for such fantastic, notable categories at the 2012 How-do awards is an achievement in itself and the team and I were absolutely thrilled to be nominated.

The team thoroughly enjoyed themselves, the evening was fantastic. We congratulate the winners of each category, and have no doubt we will be back even stronger next year.” John Kehoe, Managing Director.
