In partnership with entertainment equipment supplier Zmirage Multimedia, Transport Media are launching a bus advertising campaign aiming to enhance the presence of Nigeria’s iconic Carniriv festival which takes place in December.
Bus streetliner adverts will showcase the event across buses based at London’s Willesden, New Cross and Camberwell depots, launching on the 19th August for a duration of 8 weeks.
Brimming with vibrant imagery and heavily endorsed by festival partner logos, the advert showcases Carniriv 2013 as ‘7 days of pure fun’, clearly displaying the Carniriv branding and event date. Contact telephone and e-mail details are featured across the creative, along with the festival website. This year’s environmentally friendly theme is also prominently contained, with a ‘Green World Edition’ stamp located beneath the Carniriv 2013 logo.
Held at Port Harcourt in Nigeria, the 7-day festival offers an array of performance and celebrations promoting ideas of optimism and social harmony. Themed the ‘Green World Edition’ for 2013, Carniriv continues to represent Nigerian culture through mediums of music, dance and parades.
Guided by Transport Media and Zmirage Multimedia, the Carniriv brand will be broadcast across London areas with a significant Nigerian population. Peckham contains the highest concentration of Nigerians in Britain, and so adverts placed on buses based at New cross and Camberwell will effectively flood this area, with additional coverage in North West London thanks to a presence in Willesden. The streetliner format has the power to expose Carniriv on a high-frequency basis at pedestrian level, effectively targeting London’s Nigerian community.
CEO Lee Dentith said:
“It’s brilliant to see such an iconic international event working with Transport Media – the lively advert design really captures a sense of the Carniriv culture, and these outdoor adverts will bring a great burst of colour to the streets of London.”
